    • Posts must be relevant to the topic of neuro-oncology.
    • Provide constructive feedback. 
  • Respect and Professionalism  
    • Treat all members with respect.
    • Maintain a professional tone in all communications.
  • No Spam or Self-Promotion
    • Avoid spam and irrelevant ads.
    • Limit self-promotion to relevant contexts.
  • Confidentiality and Privacy
    • Do not share confidential information.
    • Respect the privacy of all members.
  • Compliance with Legal and Ethical Standards
    • Follow all applicable laws.
    • Adhere to ethical standards.

Discussion Group Etiquette 

  1. When commenting on a Discussion’ or ‘Announcement,state your subject concisely and clearly in the subject line. This will allow members to respond more appropriately to your posting and make it easier for members to search the archives by subject.
  2. When responding directly to someone's post, send messages to the individuals, not to the entire list. Use the "Reply to Sender" link in every message to do this.
  3. If you want to be removed from a list, use the web interface to change your settings or remove yourself from a list. As a last resort, please complete the Contact Us form.

 Please be aware that this is an informal sharing community, and there is no assurance of a timely response from other community members. Urgent clinical situations should not be referred to SNO Central. Please do not share confidential patient information in a SNO Central community as it is not private.  The Society for Neuro-Oncology does not actively monitor the site for inappropriate postings and does not undertake editorial control of postings. However, if any inappropriate posting is brought to the attention of the Society for Neuro-Oncology, we will take all appropriate action. 

Society for Neuro-Oncology reserves the right to terminate access to users who do not abide by these guidelines.
